Dinner for Two Leftovers is a project I'm working on that I've been excited to share with you all. The installation is an exploration of the architecture of grief. At its center, a twenty-foot table stands, flanked by two gestural chairs, each anticipating an absent diner.
Seated far from their fellow diners, viewers find communication difficult, if not impossible. These chairs are designed to embody and express this grief over missed or lost connection, themselves, Seemingly hopeless, their bodies remain forever warped.
